At JNPAT, our programmes, micro-credentials, and certificates equip you with the essential skills and qualifications to upskill or launch a career in aviation. We believe learning should be exciting — that’s why our courses blend real-world aviation knowledge with a fun, hands-on approach that makes every step engaging and rewarding.

If you’re in years 11-13 and looking for something different to count towards your NCEA, our introductory courses and micro-credentials for secondary school students help you explore what a career in aviation is really like — all while earning NZQA-recognised unit standards. Studying with us also opens the door to job placements, and career opportunities across JNP Aviation Ltd’s network of airports throughout New Zealand.

Our Take Off Ground Handling micro-credential leads into the New Zealand Certificate in Aviation (Ground Handling – Ramp Operations Strand, Level 3), while our Introduction to Aeronautical Engineering micro-credential provides a pathway into the New Zealand Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering (Pre-Employment Skills, Level 3), offered at our Tauranga base. Both pathways prepare learners for industry-standard roles or apprenticeships, or further study at Diploma Level 5 and 6 with providers across New Zealand.
