Course overview

Learn valuable skills and knowledge to implement effective and supportive leadership in team settings. JNP Aviation Training will work with the Employer to ensure we cover the topics that most valuable to your team of learners. We can use your code of conduct and relative policies and other relative documents to weave into our facilitation and ensure that the course is tailored to your organisation. The Leadership series can cover problem-solving, team leadership in a culturally diverse workplace and responding to complaints and difficult situations - all essential skills to give you confidence to work productively and positively in a team work environment. Knowing your workplace code of conduct, operating procedures and health and safety and security policies and processes are essential to fostering a positive workplace health and safety culture. This course is centered your organisation, leadership and the promotion of a health and safe aviation workplace.

What you'll learn

Content is reflective of the aviation industry's high regulations and compliance standards in health, safety and security. Choose from workplace health and safety culture and practices, effectively contributing within a team, leadership knowledge specific to teams, knowledge of diversity in the workplace, responding to negative feedback and problem solving and more. Valuable to aviation professionals as well as all other industries. Content is flexible and can be tailored to best suit your employees or workplace.

Entry requirements

NCEA Level 1 or equivalent, and any employer pre-requisites.

Course requirements

Access to a computer.

New Zealand Certificate in Business (Introduction to Team Leadership), Level 3.
