We are launching a new micro-credential for secondary school students for term 3!

Our new course "Introduction to Aeronautical Engineering" will be delivered in conjunction with Classic Flyers from our new purpose-built engineering workshop and classroom located inside Classic Flyers engineering hangar. Students can earn 20 NCEA credits while they explore the diverse pathways and roles available within the aviation and aeronautical engineering field.

Students will be introduced to safety in an aviation workshop, gain knowledge and skills of equipment and aeronautical aviation tool types, safe use, and apply this to the development of a project of their own within the workshop.

Classic Flyers are passionate about not only protecting and sharing the rich history of aviation in NZ but also want to work with our future aviation enthusiasts, sharing their knowledge and love for this amazing industry. Together with Classic Flyers we invite students in the Bay of Plenty region to join us and be inspired to spread their wings in aviation.
